Wind turbines at B&Q

Home wind turbines are to go on sale at B&Q for £1498 including installation. The £1500 wind mill is mounted on a 6ft pole which needs to be at least 30ft in the air and out of the 'wind shadow of tall buildings.

The DIY store chain is expecting to sell between 20,000 and 50,000 a year and believes they will become a common feature of the skyline within the next year

New website launched
